The position will assist with the preparation of the risk assessment, review of Internal Controls over the Payment Process, and other projects as needed. Duties will involve gathering and analyzing data, documenting workpapers, research of laws and policies, surveys, and preparation of charts and reports.Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Be a United States citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United StatesBe 18 years of age or olderBe actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State*Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree programHave a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalentPreferred Skill Sets:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)Verbal and Written CommunicationResearch and AnalysisAdditional Comments Preferred minimum education level: SophomorePreferred maximum education level: GraduateOur mission is to provide outstanding services to our customers-the workers and business that call New York home.
