Zone 2 WI Resource Team Emergency Department RNWhere You Will Work:Aurora Health (now part of Advocate Health) WI Float Pool is a multi‐site resource team supporting Emergency Department (ED) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high‐quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings.We're Looking For:Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingRegistered Nurse license issued by the state of practiceBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart AssociationAdditional Certification needed: ACLS, PALS, TNCCExperience: Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferredWeekend Requirement (Friday 1900 – Monday 0700): 4 Weekend Shifts per 6-week scheduleHoliday Requirement: 2 Holidays per yearWhat You'll Do:As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include:Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‐based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and proceduresDemonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teamsLeading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experienceCoordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute‐care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settingsMaintaining the competency required to practice in all acute‐care facilities within the designated zonePerks of Working with the WI Float Pool:Travel‐nursing‐style variety — without the travel: Work across multiple (5-7) Aurora Health facilities through day‐to‐day floating or 6‐week site rotationsFresh, dynamic work environment: Exposure to various departments and patient populations helps prevent routine fatigue and keeps work excitingCareer‐building experience: Demonstrates adaptability, competence, and the ability to manage diverse clinical situationsCompetitive compensation: Includes base pay, float differentials, shift and weekend premiumsBenefits & flexibility: Enjoy flexible self‐scheduling, no on‐call requirements, and only two holidays per yearAbout This Location:Serves multiple Aurora Health acute‐care facilities within the Wisconsin division.
