Senior Accountant

This position will help ensure accurate financial reporting, support internal controls, and provide meaningful insight to management and business partners.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great fit for someone who has strong accounting fundamentals and wants to continue growing within a collaborative finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activitiesPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsAnalyze general ledger accounts and investigate variancesAssist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting packagesReview financial results and provide clear explanations of key driversSupport management with financial analysis, reporting, and decision-makingEnsure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsAssist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as neededPartner with finance, operations, and other departments to resolve accounting issuesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiencySupport special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required3+ years of accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accountingExperience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reportingManufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience preferred but not requiredCPA, CMA, or active candidate status preferredERP system experience requiredMicrosoft Dynamics AX experience preferredStrong Microsoft Excel skills requiredPower BI or other reporting tool experience preferredExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyIdeal Candidate ProfileYou may be a strong fit for this role if you:Enjoy taking ownership of accounting processesAre comfortable analyzing financial data and explaining resultsHave strong attention to detail and accuracyLike improving processes and finding better ways to workCan manage deadlines during close cyclesWork well with both finance and non-finance teamsEqual Opportunity StatementThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
