The organization is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive space for children, staff, and families alike.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Peoria, IL, for an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Lead Teacher. The ECE Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children. Additional duties include leading educational activities, training and mentoring assistant teachers, engaging with families, and fostering a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth and learning.QualificationsProficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching for early childhood educationStrong Communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team membersExperience in Education and Training to guide professional development within the teamDedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for young learnersAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate Certificate. Familiarity with state and local regulations concerning early childhood educationFirst Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
