Payroll ManagerThis is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a growing firm and build a best-in-class payroll operation that supports long-term scalability and operational excellence.RESPONSIBILITIES:Own and execute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple payroll cycles: US semi-monthly payroll, US bi-weekly payroll (2 employees), and Monthly UK payroll (run locally with oversight and coordination)Serve as primary administrator for iSolvedEnsure timely, accurate payroll execution, including earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax complianceManage payroll-related audits and maintain compliance with federal, state, and international regulationsSupport and manage complex bonus calculations and trackingLearn and administer equity compensation structures, including phantom carryPrepare and validate year-end compensation statementsLead year-end payroll processes including W-2, 1099, and related reportingCreate and maintain detailed payroll documentation, policies, and proceduresIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and internal controlsPartner with HR and Finance on onboarding, offboarding, and compensation reportingServe as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiriesThis is a direct-hire opportunity with a best-in-class investment firm in the Galleria area. You will work in the office 4 days/week.
