It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.Job DescriptionThis position is remote with limited travel The Learning Design Lead (LDL) leads the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions for the Specimen Management business and serves as the liaison between SMEs, sales teams, clinical partners, and the Education & Training organization.The LDL assesses role-based performance needs and translates them into effective learning solutions using modern approaches (eLearning, blended/microlearning, virtual ILT, simulations, and performance support). Partnering with the Training & Education team, this role delivers engaging, scalable, data-driven programs.Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Strategy & Business AlignmentPartner with the Sr. Manager, Education & Training to align learning priorities to business strategy and define required competencies Execute learning strategies and training plans aligned to Specimen Management priorities Design solutions that drive performance and measurable business outcomes using adult learning principles Learning Design & DevelopmentLead design and development of high-quality learning solutions (ILT, experiential, eLearning, and blended) Partner with SMEs (e.g., Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Solutions) to translate technical, clinical, and product content into learner-focused training Ensure content aligns with adult learning principles, sales methodology, and best practices Oversee content review/approval, including LMR compliance Select delivery methods, tools, and platforms (e.g., Teams, ShowPad, virtual learning tools) based on objectives Learning Delivery & Enablement SupportSupport and, as needed, facilitate core programs (e.g., Sales Excellence Training, product training, intermediate programs) Plan and support training at national, regional, and sales meetings Coordinate virtual training sessions with Marketing and Training partners Support external train-the-trainer programs as needed (e.g., distribution partners) Provide guidance for leadership and executive training initiatives Measurement, Evaluation & Continuous ImprovementPartner with leaders to define success measures and effectiveness metrics Develop and implement measurement systems to assess impact Use feedback, performance data, and learner insights to improve solutions Communicate outcomes to leaders to enable coaching and reinforcement Professional Practice & CollaborationMaintain strong knowledge of Specimen Management products, clinical workflows, and customer needs Stay current on adult learning trends, learning technologies, and competitive training approaches Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Marketing, Communication, or related field required.
