Warehouse Associate

Job Description General Description: The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for sorting and selecting products to fulfill customer orders.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Review customer orders to determine items to be selectedAssemble customer orders from stock, verify accuracy of products selected and packages for shipmentCompare identifying information and count items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against orders or other recordsAssemble shipping boxes, maintain warehouse supplies and inventory levelsAssist other departments as needed, including but not limited to, Receiving, Stocking, Replenishment, Shipping, Verifying and ReturnsMay serve as backup to Material HandlerAssist in ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organizedRegular onsite attendance is an essential function of this positionAdditional duties as neededPosition Requirements:HS diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environmentClear communication skills requiredAble to stand on feet the entire working dayAble to bend, crouch and reach as neededMust be able to lift up to 10 lbsFlexible with schedule; ability to work overtime due to business needsAbility to operate all electric material handling equipment (including but not limited to Standing Electric Forklift, Hi-Lo Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack, Dock Machine, etc., a plusEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
