Role Description Director of Sales & Marketing role is based at a ultra-luxury resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, and is recruited by EverQuest Hospitality Recruiting Solutions. The Resort Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the development and execution of the resort’s sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue, increase market share, and strengthen brand positioning in the luxury leisure and group segments. Daily responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, overseeing rate and inventory strategies, and cultivating relationships with key accounts, travel partners, meeting planners, and high-value guests. The role will supervise and mentor the sales and marketing team, coordinate promotional campaigns, manage digital and traditional marketing channels, and ensure consistent brand standards across all guest touchpoints. The Director will also collaborate with operations, revenue management, and finance to forecast business, analyze performance, and adjust strategies to achieve budgeted goals.Qualifications Luxury Resort Director of Sales & MarketingStrong Sales and Sales Operations skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, contract negotiation, and account management within upscale or luxury hospitality.Proven Business Development experience, with the ability to identify new markets, build strategic partnerships, and grow group, leisure, and corporate revenue segments.Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and building an inclusive, high-performing sales and marketing culture.Exceptional Customer Service focus, with a track record of nurturing long-term client relationships and delivering a luxury guest experience.Background in hospitality sales and marketing at the director or senior manager level; resort or destination property experience strongly preferred.Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and hotel revenue management concepts; familiarity with digital marketing and social media for luxury brands is beneficial.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with ownership or asset management groups.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination - preferred.Experience of The Director of Sales and Marketing:At least 2 yrs Upscale to Luxury Hospitality Hotel Resort Sales & Marketing Leadership. *Budgeting, Forecasting, Rev Management, CRM, Sales and Prospecting Skills. *Relo paid.*Send resume to Bill Siegel President EverQuest Hospitality Recruiting Company Description EverQuest Hospitality Recruiting Solutions is a specialized executive search firm focused on the hospitality industry, with over 25 years of experience in placing leadership talent.
