Security Guard

About us Fuller Security Services is a small business operating in Massachusetts. We are looking for a reliable and dependable professional security guard to provide security at weddings at a venue in Scituate, MA. You will work with staff to maintain a peaceful environment. The ideal candidate would be flexible but almost all weddings are afternoon/evening hours. Candidates must have weekend availability. Most of the weddings are Friday Saturday Sunday. This is not a very labor intensive position. Being available to help de-escalate is the main part of the job. We wear a suit to blend in with wedding guests and hang around the weddings being the person staff and management can rely on in case of any issues. Responsibilities Blend in and stay available to keep a safe and secure environment Investigate disturbances and stay alert Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences Report in detail any suspicious incidents Skills Must be reliable, dependable and flexible Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism High school degree Knowledge of de-escalation techniques Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Evening shift Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Security: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
