Network Tool Developer

Overview In this role you design, develop and implement advanced system engineering solutions as a technical expert in a cross-functional environment. You’ll drive complex software and network tooling projects, coordinating subsystems and ensuring hardware/software compatibility. You’ll communicate sophisticated technology concepts to technical and business stakeholders, while leading initiatives and solving intricate problems. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position that supports enterprise IT and government-related projects with a strong emphasis on delivery and technical excellence. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and implement complex system engineering activities with cross-functional support.Handle components of highly complex engineering/analytical tasks.Establish IO processes and parameters for hardware/software compatibility and subsystem integration.Act as technology SME and communicate solutions across technical and non-technical audiences.Lead multiple complex projects and direct teams on special initiatives; may have direct reports.Lead resolution of complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of data and factors.Exercise judgement within established practices to select methods and evaluation criteria. Key requirementsDeep programming abilities in Ajax, ASP, C++, Java, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, Python, Silverlight, HTML5, PERL, scripting languages, .NET.College degree, specialized training, or equivalent experience.Typically 5+ years of complex development experience.Understanding of ITSM, Event, Problem, Change, and Release Management methodologies.Hands-on experience with multiple Network Management systems.Knowledge of data and voice networks and security of networking components.Comprehensive software development expertise.Strong communication across audiences (technical, managerial, executives)Leadership and team coordinationAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAjaxASPC++
