Maintenance Engineer(Food)2–5+ years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyors, refrigeration, boilers, and electronics.PLC troubleshooting experience required.The Maintenance Engineer(Food) is responsible for leading daily maintenance operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all bakery production equipment and facility systems. Then this Maintenance Supervisor(Food) could be the right fit for you.Job Responsibilities:Oversee maintenance and repair of all production, packaging, and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.Install and maintain power supply wiring, conduit, motors, sensors, and electrical components according to safety codes.Diagnose and repair malfunctioning transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and control devices.Perform maintenance and service on HVAC systems; install new units or replacement components as needed.Inspect, test, and evaluate machinery to identify issues and determine corrective actions.Dismantle defective machines and install new or rebuilt components.Define and recommend goals and objectives in each area of the operation.Develop and implement cost control measures, cost estimates, manpower and equipment forecasts and annual facility operating budgets.Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians; ensure proper staffing and skill development.Job Qualifications:5 plus years of manufacturing industry experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.5+ years of supervisory experience in food or bakery manufacturing maintenance.Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.Experience developing and writing SOPs.Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to interact with other business units, employees, and outside vendors.Jasleen Kaurjasleen@ajuliaexecutivesearch.comAjulia Executive Search is a search firm specializing in Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal and Pharmaceutical positions.
