Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Position: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Pay: $2,971/Week Location: Boston, MA Shift: Day/Night Rotate Shift Start: 4/20 Hours: 36 HPW Submission: BI Cross Country Coversheet, Resume, Skills Checklist, MA License, BLS, ACLS, Flu Details: MA RN LICENSE REQUIRED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION - will do 12H rotating or 12H nights THIS IS A CVICU POSITION- STRONG PA line experience is required. Wil be based in the CCU but will float to CVICU - MUST HAVE strong cardiac experience - can be surgical or medical- with expertise with PA lines and transvenous pacing and a preference for experience with MCS (IABP, Impella) Shift will be discussed on interview - CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA required - NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday) NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission - ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB -Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as PERM within the last six months will not be accepted- parking may cost up to $43/day - please reach out for details Submission Template: Candidate: LPN or RN: Email: Cell: License: MA Shift: Start: RTO: None Interview Availability times: The Coronary (Cardiac) Care Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. The Registered Nurse responds to codes and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital. The Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the intensive care/coronary care setting.
