Job description:Statement of WorkSECTION 1.0 PROJECT OVERVIEW1.1. The Colorado Department of Education (hereafter referred to as "CDE" or "the Department") is contracting with uWork.com, Inc. dba Covendis (the Contractor), 200 Walker Ave St. SW, Atlanta GA, 30313, to provide a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, CONTRACTOR NAME from VENDOR NAME for the "Empowering Parents" project. This project is funded through the general fund and includes new features (ex. drill down) and standardization across the department's customer facing data for the same look and feel throughout. 1.2. The contractor will need experience in Informatica and/or SQL. This involves using Informatica and/or SQL to load presentation layer tables for the creation of visuals and information which will be displayed on the Colorado Department of Education website. In addition, this individual may be requested to provide recommendations, documentation, and knowledge transfer to the CDE staff.1.3. Covendis Posting Req. ID: 99999 - Senior Database Programmer - Vendor Name - Contractor Name $XX.00/HR, Not to Exceed $138,000.00.SECTION 2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS2.1. The Department's Project Manager for this project is Dee Abueldahab (Enterprise Architect). This contractor will report to Dee Abueldahab or his designee.2.2. Contractor shall work closely and collaboratively with the Department's Project Manager, the Presentation Layer Developer (technical lead) and the Web Management Team throughout the duration of the Purchase Order to discuss suggestions or issues and incorporate guidance from the Department while performing the work described within this Statement of Work.2.3. The Contractor shall alert the Department's Project Manager, when issues or potential risks are encountered that will affect the project.2.4. Prior to the covid crisis, nearly all staff, employees and contractors worked on premises at the CDE office located at 201 E. Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80203. During the crisis, most staff, employees, and contractors have worked from remote locations. Policies have not been fully formulated for how we will work in the future. Once they are completed, it is expected to be dependent on the roles and the need for each role to be in the office. For most roles, it is likely to be a blend of office and remote work.
