This is a foundational leadership position with a focus on creating enduring infrastructure to meet the expectations of institutional players. The successful candidate will be responsible for making key decisions on execution environments, designing and implementing platform logic, and integrating with external partners. Close collaboration with founders, product leadership, and legal/compliance stakeholders is essential to ensure that the technology aligns with business and regulatory requirements. The CTO will also be tasked with creating and maintaining development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and security protocols, as well as representing technical leadership in external discussions. Applicants for the CTO position at the company must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in building production-grade systems, particularly in the areas of crypto, fintech, or financial infrastructure. A deep technical understanding of systems architecture, backend engineering, and smart contract design is required, along with a proven track record of making scalable architectural decisions. The role demands a hands-on approach, the ability to guide technical direction, and a comfort with the uncertainty of early-stage development. An ownership mentality and a drive for long-term success are also key attributes.
