Job Title: AssemblerJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PMPay Rate: $ 18 - $20/hrPosition Summary:Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to perform diversified mechanical bench assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling large and small components to precise specifications while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read blueprints and work instructions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform assembly, rework, and inspection of finished products for manufacturingUtilize hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic tools, manual presses, and power tools to assemble componentsWork efficiently to meet production time standards and deadlinesFollow verbal instructions, documented work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, blueprints, and established guidelinesUse precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to verify proper assembly function and operationMaintain inventory and control of materials required for the departmentIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safetyPerform cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areasFollow all company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWork under supervision and complete additional duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED required1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings requiredBasic computer skills requiredStrong hand dexterity and ability to work with small partsAbility to perform a variety of assembly operations accurately and efficientlyStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environmentEquipment and Tools Used:This position may require the use of various hand tools and calibrated measuring equipment, including but not limited to:CalipersPlug gaugesDrop indicatorsForce gaugesTorque measuring screwdriversOscilloscopesDial gaugesTorque wrenchesMicrometersSpecialized PMT manufacturing measuring equipmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift:20–50 lbs occasionally10–25 lbs frequentlyUp to 10 lbs constantlyAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours per dayGood manual dexterity and visual acuity requiredAbility to work with repetitive hand movements and precision toolsMay be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Information:This role requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual who thrives in a production environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
