Fund Finance Associate (Mid‑Level) – National Law Firm – Charlotte, NC – $200,000+ This is an outstanding opportunity to join a large, nationally recognised U.S. law firm as a Mid‑Level Associate within its growing Fund Finance practice, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.The firm advises leading banks, alternative lenders, fund sponsors and asset managers on sophisticated fund finance transactions across the U.S. and internationally. The practice is well known for its technical depth, complex deal exposure and structured, in‑office development for associates.This role offers hands‑on responsibility, meaningful client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of high‑value financing transactions within a market‑leading fund finance platform.The RoleYou will join a specialist fund finance team advising on a wide range of complex secured lending transactions, including:Acting on subscription credit facilities for private equity, credit and alternative investment funds.Advising on NAV, hybrid, management company and other fund finance facilities.Drafting and negotiating financing and security documentation for sophisticated transactions.Managing transactions independently, coordinating with clients, counterparties and internal teams.Taking an active role throughout the full transaction lifecycle, from structuring through to closing.This role is ideally suited to associates seeking greater autonomy, deeper technical exposure and client‑facing responsibility within a high‑growth fund finance practice.The CandidateA qualified attorney with 3–5 years’ experience in fund finance or secured lending transactions.Strong experience advising on subscription credit facilities is essential.Exposure to NAV, hybrid or management company facilities is advantageous.Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex financing documentation.Confident managing transactions and client relationships with limited supervision.Strong academic background and relevant law firm experience.Eligibility for admission to the North Carolina Bar is preferred (relocation and bar support available).A proactive, commercially minded and collaborative approach, with a desire for in‑office development.This is an excellent opportunity for a mid‑level associate looking to build long‑term career progression within an elite fund finance platform.The Benefits and How to ApplyThe firm offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:Multiple medical insurance options, including Health Savings Account plans and prescription coverage.Dental and vision insurance, alongside telehealth services.Cash Balance Pension Plan (for members) or Flexible Spending Accounts (for non‑members).Life insurance, AD&D cover, and short‑ and long‑term disability protection.Financial Wellness Program, Employee Assistance Program and Body Wellness Program.Generous parental leave, paid holidays, vacation pay and bereavement leave.Reimbursement of reasonable relocation expenses and bar application/review costs.Applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
