The primary role of a Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant is to deliver accelerated sales growth in consulting business, services, and associated automation hardware and software portfolio. The Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant is the subject matter expert in understanding customers’ business drivers and desired outcomes, combining capabilities and solutions to fully meet customer expectations. This role is the Lifecycle Services liaison between Rockwell Automation and Kendall Electric, providing marketing and commercial leadership for sales growth, responsibility for supporting the Commercial plan for the Services business, competency development of the sales team. Responsible for managing the services portfolio, go-to-market strategy and partner ecosystem related to Lifecycle Services.Exciting Work You Will DoThe essential duties and responsibilities of the Lifecycle Services Solution Consultant will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Develop goals and metrics and coordinate with team members on meeting targets for all areas of Kendall Electric services businessUnderstand the typical buyer, user, and influencer personas within a customer as well as their unique business driversServe as a domain expert around Services business and continuously build competency within yourself and your services and sales resourcesAttract new and expand existing customers by defining a commercial process across the company and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow Lifecycle ServicesWork with outside sales to create and maintain a robust sales funnelCreate, own, and execute a business planCollaborate with domain experts to bring the right technical solutions to meet customer expectations and deliver outcomesPerform other duties as assignedCompetencies You PossessService ExcellenceResults, Action OrientedAccountability and ResponsibilityAwareness of the needs of othersProblem SolvingTeamwork and collaborationPriority SettingWhat You’ll NeedWork Experience: 5 years’ sales experience with a similar product lineEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experienceAnalytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of automation standards and terminologyOrganization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced, continuously evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environmentCross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer serviceTravel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as neededCommunication Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and written/verbal communication skillsPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to see, talk, and hear; ability to sit for 8 hours a dayPhysical Environment: Normal office environment; may include warehouse or fabrication environments with exposure to moving equipmentQualifications We Prefer But Don’t RequireWork Experience: Previous experience selling to or working within manufacturing environmentsTechnical Knowledge: Understanding of selling multi-year industrial manufacturing service contractsThe Kendall Group is an equal opportunity employer.
