Location: Youngstown, Ohio Practice Setting: Inpatient & Call Coverage Start Date: July 1, 2026 Why This Opportunity Stands Out Day shifts (8 hours) with structured 24-hour call rotation (1:4) Work alongside a team of 20 experienced cardiologists Supervise 1 APP with full support Level I Trauma Center with 400 beds, including 50 ICU beds Facility covers flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage Patient Population Adult and geriatric cardiology patientsAverage 20 clinic patients/dayAverage 11 inpatient admissions/physician/day Clinical Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology carePerform non-invasive procedures including:Electrical cardioversionsElectrocardiograms (EKGs)Tilt table testsAll electrophysiology proceduresMaintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMRAdhere to hospital and departmental standards Travel & Reimbursement ️ Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Preference given to candidates within driving distance, if available Credentialing Estimated timeframe: 120 days Self-Query NPDB report required (within 30 days of presentation) Requirements RequiredBoard Certified CardiologistActive OH License (or willing to obtain)BLS / ACLS CertificationNPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 daysPreferredExperience with EPIC EMRPrior inpatient and call coverage Interested?This is a high-support, locum cardiology role in a Level I trauma hospital with a predictable day schedule, robust call coverage, and full travel reimbursement.
