Higgins Rd Elk Grove Village, IL 60007Your Team Is Counting On You As A Warehouse Driver To:Open availability to workWork a full-time scheduleWarehouse Driver Associate Key Duties:Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and validating adherence to road ability standardsLoads truck by ordering, placing, and securing itemsDelivers items by identifying destinations, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining the schedule to the airport terminalsPulling replenishment orders in the warehouseDelivering the warehouse product to the storesStocking drinks and snacks in the storesMaintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and obtaining/scheduling required repairsMaintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interiorMaintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance formsUpdates job knowledge by participating in training opportunitiesRequired Qualifications:A valid Class C Non-CDL Driver's License with excellent driving record.Be able to successfully clear a FBI fingerprint based criminal history records check1+ year experience driving box trucks (24"-26" ft) is preferredAbility to drive to Chicago O'Hare and Chicago Midway International Airports, and Citigroup CenterHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior stockroom or warehouse experienceGood communication and data entry skillsStrong scheduling and travel logistics skillsBe customer focused and deadline-orientedAcute visionAbility to continually lift, lower, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbsAbility to continuously stand and walk long distances for 6-8 hoursAbility to work flexible hours: early mornings-weekends-holidaysBe dependable and punctualAvalta, including Dufry, HMSHost Corporation, Hudson, and affiliates ("the Company"), is an equal opportunity employer.
