OverviewThe senior digital coordinator will ensure that NAVC Media publications maintain a consistentdigital presence that aligns with industry best practices. The senior digital coordinator willutilize their communication skills to contribute high-quality educational content across theNAVC Media portfolio, identify opportunities for audience growth, and increase engagementamong veterinary professionals. This individual will work closely with the NAVC Media editorialproduction team to post articles online, develop social media content, and write copy; they willalso work with the Media Sales Team to assist with the management of sponsored programs.Job ResponsibilitiesPosts all articles on NAVC Media websites, employing SEO best practices and maintaining high standards for presentation to ensure the best reader experience Writes copy for digital content, including short-form articles, newsletters, and social media posts Serves as project manager for various digital content productions, including: video series, social media initiatives, and sponsored content campaigns Works with the Marketing team to identify trends in social media and digital marketing and recommend applications for the NAVC's publications Performs various content updates across the NAVC's digital platforms Assists the Executive Editor and Vice President of Media Strategy in digital growth and engagement initiatives Additional responsibilities as required QualificationsBachelors degree in communication, a related field, or the equivalent work experience 2 to 6 years of professional experience in publishing, digital marketing, or a related field Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills Excellent writing and editing skills Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS preferred Interest in digital marketing and publishing trends NAVC OverviewFounded in 1982 with offices in Orlando and Gainesville, Florida, the North American VeterinaryCommunity (NAVC) is a non-profit organization that creates unparalleled opportunities for theveterinary community that foster lifelong learning, encourage growth, and promote well-beingto advance animal care worldwide.
