ConditionsOpen for US people (US citizens or green-card holders) based in or able to work in the US East time zonePart-time collaboration of approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extension to full-time after initial collaboration and project.Must be an individual, not an agency/firm.Strong (English) communication skills are required. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team on an Omniverse project and managing it from the conceptual stages through the development cycle.As the Product Manager of the team and for our client, you will ensure clarity on requirements, a shared Product Vision and constant focus on features creating business value, leading to amazing and fun product(s) for our client(s).You will ensure that the development process, architecture and standards are followed. You will also be responsible for the team's code quality, delivery schedule, and cost of the project.Manage software development teams working on a vast range of technologies, including anything around 3D (WebGL, AR, VR, Unreal Engine, Nvidia Omniverse, Unity, OpenUSD …), AI, web, cloud, and many other languages and technologies, including industrial digital twin and simulation projects.Work hand in hand with our clients and their team, ensuring open and transparent communication and management of their project(s).Work closely with our clients and, together with them, drive the direction of the Omniverse Digital Twin and the use and integration of factory simulation (DES simulation).Foster a high-performing Agile-based culture of trust, teamwork, empowerment, accountability, responsiveness, and communication. Set boundaries, success criteria, and measure progress. Suggest success patterns and call out anti-patterns.Minimize roadblocks as well as project risks and maximize opportunities to keep all members of the teams productive, engaged, and fulfilled in their roles.Manage project budgets and estimates and communicate when things need to change.You will regularly discuss short- and long-term architectural objectives and occasionally advise on a solution approach, where applicable.Will be managing one large project initially, with the possibility of extending into multiple engagements in the future.Be able to build trust, encourage an attitude of proactive responsibility, and a sense of ownership towards the tasks and projects at hand.Help analyze and create Project Specifications, Estimates, and Statements of Work.Lead the process to break down complex projects into definable tasks and estimates.Communicate and manage customers and set expectations.Collaborate with leads and production to plan, define, and scope features for projects. RequirementsProven hands-on experience on NVIDIA Omniverse projects, including solid knowledge of OpenUSD (schema, custom attributes, layer composition, asset referencing) and the broader Omniverse ecosystem, with a simulation and/or AI background as needed across Omniverse work.Experience in defining high and low-level system & software architecture, including strong object-oriented design concepts.Iterative and agile software development principles.Ability to lead a product team, delivering tangible value to customers and the business.Computer Graphics background and hands-on experience with various related technologies.3D engine experience (Unreal Engine, Unity, NVIDIA Omniverse).Familiarity with the simulation and manufacturing domain (digital twins, discrete event simulation, factory and production workflows) is a strong plus.Excellent communication and leadership skills, including mentorship ability.10+ years of software development experience.5+ years of demonstrated management experience (both projects and people).A passion for 3D graphics development.Exceptional production skills and data-driven decision making.Understanding modern software engineering and delivering software products on time and on budget.Familiar with a broad range of design principles as they apply to software development.Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and give insight into industry trends. QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related fieldPrior experience owning end-to-end product delivery and managing/leading a diverse software engineering team.10+ years’ professional experience as an engineer, including hands-on technical team management.Experience with low-level graphics APIs (WebGL, OpenGL, Metal, DirectX).Understand Unreal Engine 5 and Unity.Experience developing AR/VR applications.Detailed understanding of the OS, graphics, networking, and other sub-systems.Experience shipping products requiring stringent runtime performance practices, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games.Knowledge of and experience with different Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Demonstrated experience on NVIDIA Omniverse projects, ideally backed by (optional) Omniverse certifications.Experience designing or delivering Digital Twins (industrial, factory, or comparable real-world systems).Experience working across disciplines to drive solutions.
