Assistant Manager

Description:We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented assistant manager to help the General Manager control operating costs, execute company policies and procedures, and cultivate a fun and productive work environment for all employees. A primary focus will be to maintain an exceptionally clean and well-run restaurant while providing an excellent customer experience for all of our guests. Core Responsibilities: Manage daily operations to ensure maximized efficiency and communication across all departments Work with management team to meet sales goals Help manage food and labor costs Execute company policies and procedures Work with the General Manager to support the development of team members, including hiring, training and coaching Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for both staff and guests Develop core competencies at each position in the store and work positions as needed Recruit, hire, train and develop a team of cashiers, cooks and other support staff Support General Manager in effectively communicating issues, concerns and special needs/projects related to the day-to-day business of the store Ensure fast, accurate, high quality customer service to every guest that comes into our restaurant Demonstrate excellent teamwork Requirements:Job Requirements: Motivational leader who can inspire a team and cultivate a positive culture Knowledge of business operations including budgets, inventory, ordering, scheduling, etc Excellent written and verbal communication skills Entrepreneurial attitude and mindset SerfSafe Food Safety Certification Coachable and open to critical feedback Experience as a manager At least 18 years old, able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time Useful qualifications: Experience in business management ServSafe Certification Exceptional problem solving abilities Strong focus on accuracy, precision, consistency and quality Additional Info:Job Benefits: Fun, respectful, team oriented environment Free employee shift meal 25% discount when not working PTO and Sick Days SoDel Well - Exercise and Fitness Benefit No night shifts Health, Dental and Life Insurance 401k with company matching Competitive salary Daily Pay available
