Sr. Grant Accountant
Senior Grants Accountant Location: Gresham, OR (Hybrid) Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 Position Summary • Manages accounting, reporting, and compliance for state, federal, and private grant funding • Ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with grant requirements, and effective internal controls • Partners with program staff, finance leadership, auditors, and funding agencies • Acts as a subject matter expert in grant accounting and compliance Key Responsibilities• Oversee the full lifecycle of grant accounting, including setup, tracking, reporting, and closeout • Ensure compliance with grant agreements and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) • Prepare grant billings, reimbursements, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports • Monitor grant budgets, analyze variances, and provide financial guidance to program teams • Support month-end, year-end, and audit processes, including Single Audits • Maintain internal controls, proper cost allocation, and support process improvements • Serve as a financial resource and guide junior accounting staff as neededQualifications• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant grant accounting responsibility • Strong knowledge of fund accounting and grant compliance, including federal and state grants and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) Timing is everything.
