Logistics Associate III

Job DescriptionLogistics Associate IIIOnsiteSummary:This role is responsible for the precise management of materials and logistics to ensure project build schedules are met, operating within a laboratory or stockroom environment.Responsibilities:Material and Inventory ManagementManage on-site program material replenishment and disbursement.Conduct and document accurate inventory tracking against the Bill of Materials (BOM) for upcoming projects and builds.Verify that physical goods, packing slips, and order confirmations are aligned.Perform all stockroom duties, including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and preparing material for the bench, in line with established materials management procedures.Proactively manage and expedite material shortages to achieve the Clear to Build status on schedule.Shipping and LogisticsCoordinate outbound shipments (domestic and international) with Shipping and Logistics teams, ensuring proper accountability and follow-through.Track and follow up on all inbound shipments to ensure timely and correct delivery, and promptly sign for package pickups.Operations and ComplianceExecute daily duties as directed by the Site Supervisor/Manager, strictly following defined SOPs, Best Practices, and work instructions.Independently make decisions and utilize resources to satisfy build and part requirements.Maintain the lab area according to EHS and Facilities standards, including basic organization and record-keeping of equipment and supplies following 5S guidelines.Communication and TeamworkCommunicate any potential issues or customer concerns promptly to the supervisor.Work effectively as a member of a diverse, cross-functional team.Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of relevant experience in a stockroom or laboratory setting.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills necessary to reconcile reports and meet project requirements.Demonstrated competence with spreadsheet programs (e.g., Google Sheets, MS Office).Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines; meticulous and conscientious.Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a high degree of organization and accountability.Must possess a sense of urgency, with the ability to fact-find and expedite issues.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for engaging with personnel at various levels.Comfortable in a collaborative, dynamic environment, able to anticipate needs and offer proactive assistance.Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs.Desirable Experience:Experience or knowledge related to purchasing.Key Terms:BOM (Bill of Materials), Material Shortages, Clear to Build, Cycle Count, Shipping Logistics, 5S (familiarity with), Lab Maintenance, Google sheets/Excel, Close the LoopPay range is $23 - $28 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more.
