Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and CAD models; recommend design improvements for manufacturability when appropriate.
Perform precise layout work, including calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material allowances.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, indicators, etc.) to ensure conformance to specifications.
Maintain machinery and tooling in good working order, including basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other machinists on prototype iterations and problem-solving.
Document work performed, including setup sheets, tooling lists, and inspection reports as needed.

Strong experience in prototype machining and tool/fixture making.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD.GT. (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Solid understanding of machining principles, feeds, speeds, and material properties.
Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Preferred Skills (Strongly Desired)
Experience with surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and honing operations.
