If you enjoy creating memorable experiences and working where fun happens nonstop, this is your perfect match.Job Purpose:Provides service to bingo guest and promotes bingo merchandise salesJob Duties and Responsibilities:(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)Provides guest relations and retention by greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner, selling bingo paper to guests according to session guidelines and pricing, verifying discount eligibility if applicable, providing guests with bingo game and events information, offering up to date information regarding casino wide promotions and events, answering guest inquiries, playing bingo cards for guests, assisting guests as needed, and promptly notifying supervisor of any guest complaints or disputes.Maximizes sales of bingo merchandise by informing guests of bingo prices and special packages, walking through assigned section continuously, selling paper and electronic up sales to guests as requested, and maintaining accurate accounting of incoming and outgoing monies and bingo merchandise inventory.Maintains bingo game efficiency and integrity by promptly responding to bingo winners and reading winning cards back to bingo callers as requested, verifying bingo buy-in and guest eligibility for game participation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of game procedures and house rules, and informing players of rules as needed.Maintains the integrity of bingo cash drops by verifying quantity, serial number, color and series of paper issued by the Inventory Clerks, reconciling total issues and returns at the end of a bingo session, and accurately accounting for monies collected, credit card transactions and coupons/discounts redeemed.Prepares and maintains bingo area for game play by setting up bingo tables according to established procedure, stocking and straightening brochure racks, and performing other duties as assigned.Ensures accurate inventory of portable electronic devices (PhD) by placing them into storage crates, verifying end of shift counts, giving counts to management, and notifying management and vendor of broken, lost or misplaced units.Job Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.DGuest service experience21 years of ageDesirable:Casino gaming experienceCash handling experienceSkills and Knowledge:Essential:Working knowledge of bingo game rules, regulations and proceduresAbility to interact effectively with team members and guestsAbility to communicate effectively in the English languageAbility to maintain professionalism and composureAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to count currencyAbility to recognize counterfeit moniesAbility to accept constructive criticismAbility to complete forms and documentsAbility to perform basic data entryAbility to understand and follow verbal directives and written directionsAbility to work in a smoking environmentAbility to appear for work on timeAbility to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a timeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Desirable:MultilingualSupervisory/Managerial Accountability:Direct: NoneIndirect: NoneIf you enjoy being part of a community dedicated to creating a memorable guest experience, we invite you to explore career opportunities with Sycuan and join our winning team!Job DetailsPay Type HourlyEmployment Indicator TIP POOL-BINGO CLERK
