For more than 13 years, we have built a strong reputation among both clinicians and long-term care communities by going above and beyond to help facilities provide the best possible healthcare to their residents while remaining people-first in everything we do.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide foot care and/or wound care to residents in long-term care facilitiesConduct thorough wound assessments and develop personalized care plans for each patientPerform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures as neededContinuously monitor and assess patients’ progress in wound healing and foot healthEducate patients and facility staff on effective wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and foot care best practicesTravel to designated nursing homes in your areaCommunicate regularly with key facility staff, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimize patient outcomesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentationManage pain related to wounds to ensure patient comfortMaintain flexibility while seeing patients during weekday working hoursQualificationsMaster’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited programCurrent Nurse Practitioner license in ArkansasCertification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOCN) is preferred but not requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in wound care and/or foot careStrong clinical skills in assessment and treatment of wounds and foot conditionsIndependent, organized, and motivated to provide exceptional patient careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you’re an experienced Nurse Practitioner ready to provide exceptional foot and wound care to long-term care residents on a part-time basis, we want to hear from you!
