Position SummaryWe are searching for a qualified and dedicated CNC Machinist for a precision manufacturing partner in Beech Grove, IN. This role is focused on setup and run machinists, with the greatest current need on the mill side, though candidates with lathe experience will also be considered.This is a critical manufacturing environment supporting high-importance customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and takes pride in doing the job right- not someone looking for a short stop.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Mills and/or LathesRun production parts while maintaining tight tolerancesMake offsets and minor adjustments as neededInterpret blueprints and GD&TPerform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesComplete work orders and inspection documentation accuratelyPerform daily preventative maintenance on assigned machinesAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safelyQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and run)Experience with CNC Mills and/or LathesStrong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretationComfortable with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and consistent attendanceAbility to follow directions and work independentlyMastercam or CAM programming exposure preferredExperience with Doosan, Okuma, or similar machines preferredBackground in aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical manufacturing preferredEmployment Type & CompensationThis is a Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent placement with employerPay rate is $62,400.00 - $66,560.00 yearly, based on experienceApplication Window: Open until closed Work ScheduleMonday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PMBenefitsBenefit details have not been provided at this time.
