Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for their Detroit team!Responsibilities:Project/client managementPrepare project documentation including proposals and administering project contractsSupervise staff or perform the following:Develop/execute a project specific commissioning plan (design review, system installation verification, and functional testing)Develop spreadsheet analyses/written reportsPerform field assessments and on-site commissioning activitiesPerform functional testing of building systems (MEP/control systems)Complete USGBC LEED commissioning tasks/credit completionUse energy simulation software to perform building energy/resource use analysisEnsure QA/QC standards are met by reviewing work prepared by othersPerform working planning/management of the commissioning process to the available hours in the work planAttend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionalsAssist with business developmentRequirements:BS in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred5+ years of building commissioning experiencePE preferredBCxP, CCP, CxA, or CBCP certificationExperience in Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects preferredExperience managing multiple projects concurrentlyStrong knowledge of MEP/FP building systems design/construction processes, building automation systems, and test and balance process/proceduresLEED AP with specialty preferredSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
