The company provides independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, continuing care retirement communities (CCRC), and healthcare services for residents. It also provides housing, hospitality, and provides outpatient therapy, home health, personalized living and hospice services to residents and to seniors living outside communities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fresno, CA for a Caregiver at Eternal Senior Living. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The Caregiver will also communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members to provide high-quality care and support. Qualifications Prior experience as a caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Current CPR and First Aid certification Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to transport residents as needed Responsibilities - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting - Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of residents - Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs and preferences - Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor - Assist with therapeutic activities and socialization opportunities for residents - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents Please note that this position may require working in a nursing home or similar healthcare facility.
