Supervisor - Food & Nutrition - Full-Time - Days/Evenings

Job Description:PURPOSE OF JOB:Provide first line supervision for Food Service Associates and oversee daily operations of the food service department. This position provides a link to the support for leadership and direction for the Food and Nutrition DepartmentESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Oversees "At Your Request", Fresh Inspirations, One Vision Cafe, Well Bean and production area. Assures that At Your Request time frames are maintained.Responsible for sanitation and safety in the department. Responsible for safe handling of all food in accordance with all HACCP guidelines and Department policies.Functions in any capacity as an Associate in case of unusual or extra-ordinary requests for service or lack of available staffingConforms to all hospital policies and procedures regarding scheduling of Associates, coaching and counseling, training and other personnel issues.Maintains a SERVICE attitude when providing customer service. Demonstrates and models the core SERVICE values.Completes all safety training and adheres to safety procedures in daily operations.Job Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Able to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language.Experience: Food Service or other hospitality related experience preferred.Other Skills: Able to competently perform the following:Food preparation, handling, inventory
