Server – JuXi Restaurant Location: Alameda, CA Type: Part-time / Full-time Pay: $17.76/hr + tips About JuXi: JuXi (pronounced juicy/joo-see) is a Cantonese-inspired restaurant in the heart of Alameda, named after the parents of our chef and owner. Our food represents a new generation of Cantonese+American cooking, rooted in the flavors we grew up with and shaped by our lives in Alameda. Some dishes stay close to tradition, while others draw inspiration from the Bay Area's diverse food culture. Our dishes lean on California's seasons and the local farms and producers we're lucky to collaborate with. What You’ll Do: Welcome guests and guide them through our menu with genuine hospitality Take orders accurately and input them into our POS system Deliver food and drinks with attention to timing and presentation Handle payments, sidework, and keep your section clean and stocked Work as a team with kitchen and bar staff to create a smooth service Uphold food safety and alcohol service standards What We’re Looking For: 1+ year restaurant serving experience Friendly, upbeat attitude and strong communication skills Ability to stay calm and organized during busy dinner rushes Must be able to stand/walk for 6-8 hour shifts and lift up to 25 lbs CA Food Handler Card and RBS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire Weekend and evening availability required Perks: Competitive hourly pay plus tips Staff meal Growth opportunities as we expand Tight-knit team that actually likes working together More detail about JuXi, please visit
