Remote SQL/SSIS Developer Apex Systems is seeking candidates for a remote SQL/SSIS Developer role. This is a contract position with an opportunity to convert full time.Responsibilities:Design and enhance software applications under supervision of a manager or technical lead as needed. 90%Participate in other application development projects as assigned. 10%Education:Required: Bachelor; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software EngineeringExperience:Minimum Qualifications (all mandatory):ETL experience using SSIS in SQL 2016 environmentsMicrosoft Visual Studio 2016 and higherMS SQL Server databasesVersion controlling VSTSRequired: Minimum of 4 years professional experience; expert in a specific skill set, business area or product, but remains focused primarily on daily execution. Relevant programming languages (e.g. Java, HTML, SQL), experience with application servers (e.g. WebSphere, Tomcat) and Windows OS.Ability to excel in a collaborative and matrixed team environmentAbility to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issuesAbility to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quicklyExperience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferredProven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
