Test Engineer IIJob SummaryThe Test Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test solutions for electrical hardware components, PCBAs, systems, and software. The role will focus on test automation, electrical testing, validation and qualification activities, and troubleshooting of electrical and software test systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test plans, test fixtures, and automated test solutions for electrical hardware, PCBAs, systems, and software.Develop, modify, and maintain test automation scripts using LabVIEW, Python, and NI TestStand.Perform hands-on testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads.Develop and execute validation and qualification protocols for software, equipment, and automated test systems.Execute and document Software Validation, Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) activities.Prepare validation, qualification, and test reports with accurate technical documentation.Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems, software applications, test fixtures, and automated test equipment.Analyze test results, investigate failures, and support root-cause identification and resolution.Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve test methods, fixtures, automation, and system performance.Ensure testing and documentation activities comply with applicable procedures and quality requirements.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads.Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts using LabVIEW, Python, and/or NI TestStand.Experience testing electrical hardware, PCBAs, test fixtures, or automated test systems.Experience with software validation, equipment qualification, IQ/OQ, or validation testing.Strong electrical and software troubleshooting and debugging skills.Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
