This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to evaluate the extent of damage and the necessary repairs. The estimator will work closely with customers to explain the repair process and provide transparent pricing, ensuring a positive customer experience. Additionally, the estimator will collaborate with technicians and management to prioritize repairs and manage workflow efficiently. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to ensure that customers receive high-quality service while maintaining profitability for the shop.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and costs.Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for repairs, including parts and labor.Communicate effectively with customers to explain the repair process and answer any questions.Collaborate with technicians to ensure that repairs are completed to the highest standards.Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience in automotive repair or estimatingStrong knowledge of automotive repair processes and partsExperience working with CCC estimating program. (Preferred)Experience with estimating software and tools. (Preferred)Customer service experience in a retail or automotive environment.
