American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Monroe, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: TravelAssignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a high-volume CT Scan department at a Trauma Level IV teaching hospital, with first-time travelers welcome.Details CT Scan department within a 182-licensed-bed Trauma Level IV teaching hospital that also serves as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center Serves ED, inpatient, and outpatient patient populations across a variety of diagnoses High-volume department averaging 325 patients per day across modalities This is a weekender role: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM (12-hour day shifts) 36 hours per week on a 4-week scheduling cycle Uses Siemens and GE equipment; EMR is Epic May float within Region 2, which includes Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and the Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, and Levine Children's Hospital) Holiday coverage is expected for 75% of holidays, with a specific requirement for July 3rd (Friday), 2:30 PM - 10:30 PMRequirements Minimum of 12 months of core work experience in CT or Radiology within the last year For CT Tech role: active BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certification required For Rad Tech role: active BLS and ARRT(R) certification required License required if applicable NC State Licensure is not required Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Prior employees who worked a permanent position must have been separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 yearAdditional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Orientation includes online NEO courses followed by 3-5 days of departmental training depending on modality Department is supported by nursing and transport staff, with a culture of team accountability and patient-centered care Black scrubs are required Free parking is available on-site RTO requests require manager approval Call requirements and weekend rotation details beyond the weekender schedule vary by modality and will be discussed during the interviewAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-704957.
