As a new business engagement and geography for NuEnergen, this role will require an individual who is located in or around the City of Chicago, and also capable of working in conjunction with the leadership team at NuEnergen located in White Plains, New York. Ideal candidates will have several years of work in account management and energy consulting management space; candidates with specific experience in energy procurement, utility bill auditing and energy budgeting will be given priority, alongside those with demonstrated history of project coordination and management. As the primary account manager, you will be tasked with the successful onboarding of the customer into NuEnergen’s suite of services, implementation of necessary business processes, and management of all customer deliverables. This will be done in conjunction with NuEnergen’s operations team located in New York, and various partners located in the Chicago area. In the initial phase of the contract, you may also be paired with tenured members of the executive and client services team to ensure a smooth transition for both yourself and the customer. This role will involve daily engagement with the primary customer and its associated personnel,  both in person and via phone/email. It also requires an individual who is comfortable spending a majority of their time in the field and coordinating closely with various team members in different locales. You will be expected to understand and speak cogently on all NuEnergen service lines, and work with all levels of company employees to include operations and executive leadership in support of business objectives. This position may also include a business development component and/or other account responsibilities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft’s Office suite, HubSpot CRM and Box cloud sharing software is a firm requirement. While this role will be located in Chicago, travel to the New York office will be expected for training and overall project coordination. Please note the following details pertaining to this role:·        Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License·        Candidate must be a U.S. citizen·        Applicants must live in the City of Chicago, or within 25 miles of it·        Applicants must have at least 3 years of work experience in the below:o   Account managemento   Energy consulting management·        Employment will be conditional on the final approval of contract, expected ~July 2026·        Down-selected candidates will also be asked to:o   Submit a writing sample for reviewo   Complete a Microsoft Excel aptitude test·        Once a quarter, employee will be asked to travel to the New York office·        Candidate must pass a background check Responsibilities and Duties: ·        Coordination and meeting with other members of NuEnergen’s executive and client services team for training and onboarding. This will be particularly important during the first few months of employment, and as needed over the course of the first 6 to 12 months of customer contract. ·        Management and supervision of all customer deliverables required, with weekly reporting to SVP, Client Services and General Manager, Consulting Services on project status and needs. ·        Regular meetings with assigned customers as outlined by SVP, Client Services and/or customer. This will include client personnel ranging from facility engineering through executive officers.·        Ongoing and close coordination with the New York operations team to schedule and deliver necessary client materials. Additionally, engagement, support, and coordination of customer service efforts with local subcontractors engaged for the contract.·        Composition of necessary business documents including proposals, presentations, services agreements and Quarterly Business Reports to support business functions, and proficient use of cloud share software to manage and store these files. ·        On a potential future and as needed basis, coordination with NuEnergen’s VP, Sales and Marketing to explore and advance new business opportunities in the Chicago area. This role will also require proficient use of sales tools and forecasting. Compensation: ·        Annual base pay between $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate on experience paid on a monthly basis (the last business day of each month).·        Ongoing commissions earned via company margin obtained through contract work with assigned client, paid the month following each quarter as a percentage of billings.·        401K plan where NuEnergen matches 100% of your contributions up to 4% of your base salary.·        Year-end Profit-Sharing plan into your 401K with a target amount of up to 10% of your annual base salary, subject to CEO discretion.·        Medical benefits for the employee starting after the first day of employment (50% of employee only portion paid by company).·        15 days of personal time off (PTO) per year, accrued on a monthly basis plus 5 days of sick leave per year (which if not used, will be paid out each Dec. 31st), plus major US holidays.·        Reimbursement of reasonable business expenses, including mileage for use of personal car and travel to New York office. ·        Eligibility for additional commissions via Company plan earned by way of either additional customers managed in the future, or new sales contracted.
