Overview:ETL Test/ SQL Test Scripts to test Data conversionLocation: Owings Mills MDRequest-ID: 1427-1Duration: 6 monthsRate: $55/hrThis positions is specifically to help test the conversion of an existing Data Warehouse from Oracle 11g and to Oracle 19C.The candidate needs to be able to work independently: running Informatica ETL jobs, querying the warehouse tables to verify the data and troubleshoot where necessary when/if the jobs fail.Being able to read Warehouse database models and being comfortable with star schema design is a must.Sql proficiency is a must.Summary:The candidate will test the conversion of data warehouse from Oracle 11g to Oracle 19c.The candidate will be responsible for running Informatica jobs to load test data into the data warehouse post conversion.They will be responsible for creating and executing sql test scripts to verify data loads.The candidate is expected to troubleshoot problems identifying what is truly problems with the conversion versus issues with data.When necessary, the candidate will communicate with the DBA team to work through issues.The candidate is expected to report progress/status and detailed issues to management.Eventually, the candidate will also support the current production support team researching and resolving production tickets for the current warehouse in production.Skills:
