Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer who will: You will report to a Security Information Manager to contribute to a technical team of professionals who maintain and improve CSG's public cloud security framework across multiple providers Identify and define security system requirements Analyze security systems and seek improvements through automation or otherwise Develop, document, and maintain security standards, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures Tune, filter, and customize security systems with Information Security Analysts Be an information security subject matter expert for public cloud security and consult with fellow team members and those outside of the security organization to provide guidance and insight into solving basic to moderately complex public cloud focused security challenges Participate and be an integral component of audit, compliance, and regulatory functions, including and not limited to: Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), new state and Federal privacy laws, and general security auditing Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates with: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, related field, or equivalent experience Proficiency in English in a business environment 5+ years of experience in information security, including a minimum of two years of public cloud experience Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining hybrid multi-cloud security solutions in a large scale, enterprise environment Experience implementing and maintaining information security technologies as they apply to public cloud, such as: IDS/IPS, malware prevention, database activity monitoring, secure password repository, logging, identity, and encryption. Automation and Integration experience such as: automating security processes and workflows using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. Integrating security tools and best practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous security in the software development lifecycle. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience. $86,433.83-$138,294.13 This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
