Tax Preparer

*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting and possess strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts. *Duties* - Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals or businesses - Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine appropriate tax deductions - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tax preparation - Utilize accounting software to input and analyze financial data - Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations *Skills* - Proficiency in tax preparation and related software (e.g., Intuit ProConnect) - Strong analytical skills to review financial documents and identify potential deductions - Familiarity with accounting software to manage client information accurately Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Language: Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: CPA (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154 (Required) Work Location: In person
