Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Principal Engineer role located in Graham, NC. The Principal Engineer will lead and oversee engineering designs, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards. This role involves providing technical expertise during site development projects, reviewing design schematics, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The Principal Engineer will engage in direct problem-solving, contributing to efficient and sustainable land development solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in site design, grading design, stormwater management, and utility planningWorking knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing land developmentStrong experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordinationFamiliarity with relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and design modeling platformsExcellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skillsProfessional Engineering (PE) license required or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe6+ years of experience in land development or related engineering fields preferredBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
