Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Plural Pump Technician to join our manufacturing team. Duties
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plural pump systems and associated hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and modify system operations for improved efficiency.
Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to assess electrical circuits and components.
Conduct welding and mechanical repairs using appropriate tools and techniques to restore equipment functionality.
Interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and control system documentation to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide expert advice on system upgrades or modifications that meet customer needs.
Adhere to safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage electrical systems, HVAC/R components, and industrial mechanics.
Requirements
Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility with industrial maintenance responsibilities.
Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, and HVAC/R systems.
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting involving high voltage and low voltage systems.
Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely in a manufacturing environment.
Analysis skills for diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools is beneficial.
Previous field service experience working directly with clients or customers is a plus.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and be authorized to work in the United States.
