1st shift Weld Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Welding Team Leader to guide our Weld and Grind team, ensure top-tier quality, and drive production success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on leadership role in which you will work alongside your team and supervise daily welding operations. If you take pride in craftsmanship, safety, and mentoring others, this opportunity is for you.Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with potential overtime opportunities, giving you long weekends and additional earning potential.What You’ll DoLead, coordinate, and prioritize daily welding and fabrication activities to meet production goals Provide hands-on leadership in MIG and TIG welding (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel) Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders with accuracy Inspect weldments to ensure high-quality workmanship, proper penetration, alignment, and dimensional accuracy Train and mentor team members to improve skill level, productivity, and performance Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policies Troubleshoot fabrication and welding challenges to minimize downtime Monitor equipment setup, maintenance, and safe operation Maintain accurate production records and ERP system entries Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste What We’re Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent 5+ years of welding experience, including leadership or supervisory experience Welding certification preferred Advanced knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes Ability to weld in all positions with consistent, high-quality results Strong blueprint reading and fabrication math skills Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Basic computer and ERP system experience A strong work ethic and reliability Why Join Us?4-Day Workweek – Every Friday off Consistent Schedule – 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday) Overtime Opportunities for additional income Hands-on leadership role with growth potential Team-oriented work environment Commitment to safety and quality Work Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, welding fumes, and seasonal heat Must be able to stand for extended periods (10+ hours) Frequent lifting and material handling up to 50 lbs Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, helmets, and hearing protection If you’re a motivated welding professional ready to lead from the front and build a strong team, we want to hear from you.Apply today and take the next step in your welding career.
