Position Description Division: Brannan Sand + Gravel Position: Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Reports To: Shop Manager FLSA Status: Full Time Location: Brannan Lipan Plant 5880 Lipan St, Denver, CO 80216 Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00 Sign-on Bonus: $3,000 Position Summary: As a " Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic " your general responsibilities will be to perform daily maintenance inspections, service, and repair construction equipment. This includes Skid Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Pavers, Milling Machines, Rollers Scrapers, Excavators, Compaction Equipment, and various Asphalt Paving Equipment while working out of a company provided service truck. This position will also include working in a shop environment when necessary. This may be a Day or Swing Shift position based out of the Brannan Lipan Plant. Functional Responsibilities:The Mechanic must perform daily maintenance checks to assess and repair heavy equipment failure.Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on the equipment and prepare/maintain inspection and maintenance records.Lubricating components.Servicing hydraulic systems.Track and transmission maintenance.Delivering and installing parts on equipment at the job site.Loading and unloading of materials.General cleanup of equipment.Checking, changing, and maintaining fluids.Adheres to all safety protocols.Maintenance of all equipment and tools.
