Elite Boutique - Investment Banking Associate - Consumer

We have partnered with an elite boutique investment bank who is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Consumer M&A team in New York, driven by continued deal activity and a strong forward pipeline.The team advises on high-quality, strategic M&A transactions across Food & Beverage, Beauty & Personal Care, Consumer Services, and Branded Consumer Products, operating in a lean, execution-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across the Consumer sectorBuild and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and operating casesPrepare marketing materials including CIMs, management presentations, and buyer materialsCoordinate and manage due diligence processes and data roomsSupport senior bankers in client interaction, buyer outreach, and process managementWork closely with management teams, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyersQualifications3–5 years of investment banking experience (Associate level)Prior exposure to Consumer, Retail, or Branded Products preferredStrong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skillsExperience working on lean deal teams with meaningful execution responsibilityStrong communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients and senior stakeholders
