Project Architect
Fika Architects is a growing architecture firm focused on delivering high-quality, technically sound design solutions across industrial, commercial, and retail environments. We combine large-firm experience with small-firm values.We are looking for a Project Architect to join our team and play a key role in production, coordination, and project delivery. This will be a Hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in the office. Responsibilities and duties· Develop Revit-based construction documents from schematic design through construction · Conduct code analysis to identify building code, life safety and ADA compliance · Participate in project development and documentation, with a focus on constructability · Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, and completeness · Contribute to a culture of shared ownership, where ideas are welcomed and accountability is collective· Bring a balance of independence and collaboration· communicate clearly, listen actively, and work well across disciplines, clients, and project teams· Take initiative, follow through, and keep projects moving forward without needing constant directionQualifications· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture · 6 years of experience minimum in architecture or a related field · Strong proficiency in Revit · Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing · Working knowledge of building codes · Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Strong communication and coordination skills Preferred requirements · Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure · Experience with industrial, commercial & retail projects · Familiar with pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) What We Offer· Opportunity to work directly with firm leadership on meaningful projects · Exposure to a wide range of project types and responsibilities · Flexible, collaborative work environment · Competitive compensation based on experience · Growth opportunity as the firm continues to expand · Competitive benefits
