Qualifications Minimum of 12 ECE units - Teacher 3/6 units completed and six units in progress - Aide/Assistant teacher Preferred to have a Montessori classroom experience preferred six months experience with Toddlers 2 to 5yrs age children Responsibilities Follow the Montessori philosophy to create an atmosphere that encourages appropriate social-emotional development. Developing a meaningful and collaborative relationship with each child and their family Provide supervision, care, and diaper changing. Observe different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills. Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, Follow the schedules and routines to ensure students’ progress, practices, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development.
