Job DescriptionAI/ML Engineer Job DetailsJob Information: AI/ML EngineerCompanyRacknerJob DetailsJob Title: AI/ML EngineerLocation: Dayton, OH and RemoteWork Type: Full-Time, On-site / RemoteClearance Required: TS/SCIKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformer-based architectures.Build and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and object detection systems (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN).Perform feature engineering and prepare high-quality datasets.Create and maintain AI/ML training runbooks and documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems.Ensure reproducibility via data versioning and metadata standards.Evaluate and improve model performance and scalability.Required QualificationsProficiency in model architectures: CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, LLMs, and Object Detection models (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN).Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.Experience with Hugging Face, Ollama, or similar frameworks.Knowledge of data engineering concepts: Feature engineering, dataset preparation, and data versioning tools (e.g., lakeFS).Familiarity with metadata standards such as STAC.Ability to create clear AI/ML training runbooks.Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.Preferred QualificationsExperience deploying models in cloud-native environments.Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and MLOps principles.Experience working with large-scale or federal datasets.Salary & BenefitsCompensation: Weekly pay with full remote flexibility options.Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Retirement: 401(k) with 100% company match up to 6%.Time Off: Paid time off (PTO).Other: Life and disability insurance, home office equipment plan.Development: Paid certifications and training.
