School Director

Director Job Posting Seed School is a micro school seeking a director for two locations in Pleasant View and Bear River. We are looking for administrators who are innovative, passionate about education, and want to inspire a love of learning in their students and foster a love for teaching in their faculty. Responsibilities: The Director oversees the general operation of each location, implements the vision of Seed School, manages staff, and mentors teachers. This includes: Ensuring curriculum is being taught and mentoring teachers in core subjects and supplemental materials. Overseeing student progression and teacher development. Working with the lead teacher to make sure the vision of Seed School is being implemented and day-to-day running of school is smooth. Work in partnership with families to reach student education goals and to resolve parent concerns. Collaborate with other directors and administrators on Seed School vision and policies, budget, enrollment, and staffing. Act as liaison between Seed School and the community. Qualifications BS degree in Education or related field. Experience in administration or equivalent area. Experience managing staff and/or faculty. Experience in alternative education is desirable.
