JOB OBJECTIVE:
Manage all key aspects of the technical sales process including account planning and sector strategy with focus on customer strategic priorities, regular interface with customer stakeholders, identifying and qualifying potential projects, working within the sales funnel with constant follow-up tracking project progress towards commercialization, developing pre-call agendas and detailed timely written post-call reports. Consistently follow-up on customer projects, samples, and requests.
Searches for and responds to opportunities in defined business / market segments, focused on concept to realization for Engineering Project Management.
Work jointly with sales and marketing teams to develop and drive key strategies for armor program development.
Closely work with the Segment Leads, department Directors and Managers to ensure timely and accurate financial information is received, as well as reporting on the development and financial performance of each segment.
Leads execution of projects within assigned segments in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Professional planning, execution, and communication of projects with customers according to Integris management system procedures.
Creates synergies to encourage open and effective communication across all business segments. Leads and directs other job functions for project execution, such as Supply Chain, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, etc.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Management and documentation of all engineering changes and agreements during entire project development stages.
Drafting of technical documents relating to the service after sales support for customers (ILS Management) Maintains awareness of ballistic materials, performance, and vendors.
Coordinate certification and/or qualification of the product to include preparation of Qualification Test Plans, the fabrication of product samples and test laboratory coordination: First Article Testing (FAT) for military products.
Complete life cycle management of products and processes associated with the project.
Development & overall owner of Risk Register items and actions.
Responsible for coordinating and has final review authority to USG issued CARs.
Approval of input and output for design & engineering regarding drawings and deliverable design documentation for each project phase and design changes.
Development and authors Qualification Test Plan, Qualification Schedule, and Qualification Test Report according to specifications and standards.
Leads qualification testing activities, including observation of testing at Gov't or outside labs as required.
Coordinates First Article Inspection (FAI) & Qualification Test article builds in conjunction with the ballistic & development engineer.
Leading quoting activities for all direct to Government sales and proposals across all product lines.
Organization of Resources and Quotations at external Qualification Institutes and Consultancy Agencies.
Assists Supply Chain in make / buy decisions and locations of program activities.
Others as determined by management.
Up to 25% travel.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Must be able to obtain government security clearance.
Defense industry experience, preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management, preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience with a detailed and active Quality Management System, preferred.
Degree in a relevant engineering, business, or related field, preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ manufacturing environment experience, preferred.
Experience in executing projects within the Life Cycle Management (LCM) process.
This individual must clearly understand the customer environment including requirements and mission needs, share that knowledge with executive management, program, and capture teams, have established relationships with military and prime contractor customer community, and maintain highly effective internal and external customer relationships.

Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred, but not required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
Customer Interaction (Internal and External) – must be calm, but persuasive in nature.
An ability to manage conflict without showing stress.
Controlled and not reactive - this position requires interaction with many services.
Communications skills need to be clear and ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders.
